What People Are Saying

Harriet is an amazing personal trainer. She really took the time to understand what I needed to feel more confident trying weights for the first ever time. She ensured she tailored all the exercises so that she didn’t aggravate my long standing plantar fasciitis and even after a few weeks with her building up my muscles my plantar fasciitis completely disappeared. She made the sessions fun but challenging. She always thought about how to get me to make progress. I would recommend Harriet as a trainer to everyone but if you are new to exercise and weights she is amazing. Harriet’s expertise, commitment and thorough dedication to improving her customers fitness is second to none.

Thank you for this morning Harriet, I LOVE the sessions and am so glad I started. It’s something I’m prioritising as it helps my mental health as well as physical health which is important at the moment. You’re so mindful and thoughtful when it comes to curating and delivering the sessions and I’m so grateful.

FAQs

  • A starter package is designed for you to try Fit Factor and see if it’s for you. You’ll pay upfront for 6 weeks of training, and at the end, there is no obligation to continue. However, if you (hopefully) love it, then you can join as a member.

  • Your spot is reserved for you each week, so you don’t have to worry about missing out.

However, if you can’t make your usual time, you can swap into another Small Group PT Session / PT Session that has space that week. Just let me know in advance.

  • Yes absolutely. Even if you’re in a group with more experienced people, it doesn’t matter. While we all follow a structured programme, each exercise will be adapted to your level, and we’ll build progress from your starting point.

  • THat’s completely normal. Many women feel the same way before they start.

In Small Group PT, you’ll train alongside up to three others, but your workout is tailored to your level and your needs. Nobody gets held back or left behind. You’ll always be pushed just the right amount to make progress safely and effectively.

I’ve coached women in groups for several years, and one of the best parts is the support. More experienced clients often encourage those starting out, and the friendly atmosphere makes training enjoyable. Most people end up loving the sense of community, motivation and fun that comes with training together.

  • Yes - in most cases! Before you sign up, we’ll have a chat about your injury and any limitations. Many common injuries such as frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injuries, knee injuries, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow or mild back pain can be safely worked around with the right approach.

I am qualified to coach people referred due to injury, and I’ll easily adapt sessions to suit your needs. If your injury is more acute or requires medical management, I’ll always recommend you seek guidance from a physiotherapist or specialist first, and then I’ll happily build your training around their advice.

  • Absolutely. Many clients come to me with long-term conditions such as arthritis, osteoporosis, incontinence, stomas, diabetes, high blood pressure and many others. With the right guidance, exercise can be safe, enjoyable and hugely beneficial in managing these challenges.

I’m qualified in exercise referral, which means I can adapt sessions to suit your needs and help you move with confidence. In some cases, I may ask for clearance from your GP or specialist before we start., so we can work together safely. My goal is always to help you feel stronger, more mobile and more in control of your health.
